It shall be unlawful for any person, without
previous written permission signed by an authorized official of the
Town of Mount Airy, to open any fire hydrant within the limits of
the Town of Mount Airy and to cause in any manner water to be discharged
or withdrawn therefrom.
The provisions of this article shall not apply
to any employee of the Town of Mount Airy acting within the scope
of his authorized duties on behalf of the Town.

Violation of any of the provisions of this article
is hereby declared to be a municipal infraction, and the amount of
the infraction fine assessed therefor shall be $500.
