A. 
Enforcement. The provisions of this Chapter 416 of the Code of the City of Peekskill shall be enforceable by any police officer, code enforcement officer under the direction of the Building Department, code enforcement officer under the direction of the Department of Public Works, any community service officer or any park ranger.

B. 
Penalties for offenses. Any person who shall violate any of the provisions of this chapter or rule or regulation made thereunder excepting therefrom the penalties for violation of § 416-14 of this chapter as set out below shall, upon conviction thereof, be punished by a fine of not less than $100 nor more than $250 or by imprisonment of not more than 15 days, or by both such fine and imprisonment.
C. 
Penalties for violation of § 416-14. Any person who shall violate § 416-14 of this chapter shall, upon conviction thereof, be punished by a fine of not less than $100 nor more than $500 or by imprisonment of not more than 15 days, or by both such fine and imprisonment.

Editor's Note: The amendment to this section passed 6-11-1984 also provided that, notwithstanding any other section of the ordinance to the contrary, the City Court shall have the authority, in cases it deems appropriate, to substitute community service in accordance with guidelines and regulations to be promulgated by the Court as an alternative to such fine and imprisonment.
