These regulations shall apply to all Town-owned
or -operated public parking lots, including those located in Town
parks.

Vehicles must be parked only in marked designated
areas in said lots, fire lanes must be kept clear, vehicles cannot
be parked in designated "no parking" zones, vehicles cannot be parked
less than 15 feet from a fire hydrant, vehicles cannot block fire
exits, designated handicap parking spaces may be used only for the
parking of vehicles bearing the authorized handicap plate or permit,
vehicles must be parked in designated parking spaces in municipal
lots only for the time periods established by resolution of the Town
Board, non-electric vehicles cannot be parked in spaces designated
for electric vehicles, and electric vehicles parked in spaces designated
for electric vehicles must be connected to the charging stations provided
to such spaces.
The possession of open containers of alcoholic
beverages with the intent to consume the same or the service or consumption
of alcoholic beverages is prohibited in such parking lots, and no
intoxicated person shall be permitted therein.
No person shall injure, deface, disturb or befoul
any part of such parking lots, including any building, lights, signs
or other equipment therein, or litter in such parking lots.
No person shall operate any motorized vehicle
within such parking lot, except upon designated roadways or parking
areas. No motorized vehicles may be operated therein at a rate of
speed greater than 20 miles per hour. The foregoing shall not apply
to authorized law enforcement agencies or Town officials or employees
in the course of their duties, if so required.
No person shall loiter in any Town parking lots.
No person shall set fire or assist to set fire
any timber, trees, shrubs, grass, leaves, growth or any other combustible
material in such parking lots.
No person shall discharge any firearm, spring
or air gun, or bow and arrow within such parking lots. Members of
authorized law enforcement agencies in the course of their duties
are exempted from such prohibition.
No person shall use unreasonably loud or obscene
language, partake in activities that result in unreasonably loud noise,
engage in disorderly conduct or interfere with any authorized law
enforcement officer or Town official or employee acting in the course
of his or her duties. There will be no electronic or other amplification
of sound in said parking lots, except by special permit.
The Town Board shall, by resolution, set the
hours during which parking is permitted in the various lots, as well
as limitations on the length of time vehicles may be continuously
parked therein. Such time restrictions shall be posted in each lot
to which they apply. Violations of the time restrictions may be punished
in the same manner as are the violations for parking in fire lanes
and handicap parking spaces.
