Prior to the imposition of an increase in any
rental or service fee or charge, a mobile and manufactured home park
owner shall file with the Mobile and Manufactured Home Park Rental
Review Board a notice of proposed rental or service fee or charge
increase. A copy of the notice shall be mailed by the owner to each
resident of the park within three days of filing by first class mail,
postage prepaid. Within 30 days of the filing of such notice, the
Board will hold a public hearing thereon. Within 30 days of public
hearing, the Board shall issue a written hearing summary and a finding
regarding the economic justification for and reasonableness of any
increase in rental or service fees or charges proposed in the notice.
No increase in any rental or service fee or charge shall be effective
prior to 60 days from the filing of the notice required by this section.
