B. 
Fines doubled. The schedule of fines set forth above shall be doubled for all fines not paid within 60 days of the date of citation, provided a late payment notice has been sent at least 30 days after citation.

C. 
Late payment fee. A vehicle owner shall have 15 days from the date of a citation within which to remit payment in full to the Village of Skaneateles, exclusive of the date of the citation. If such payment is not received by the Village within 15 days, a late payment fee of $10 shall be surcharged, in addition to the amount of the fine. Such surcharge shall not be doubled pursuant to Subsection B above.
Unless otherwise specified, parking meters shall be in operation during hours coincidental with those hours specified for parking time limits in §§ 212-23 and 212-24 of this article in the respective parking meter zones, unless parking, standing or stopping is otherwise prohibited during those hours.
A. 
Pavement markings shall be applied, where practicable, outlining parking spaces in the parking meter zones established in this article.
B. 
Parking meters shall be installed immediately adjacent to the parking spaces.
C. 
No parking spaces shall be applied at, nor meters installed adjacent to, locations where parking, standing or stopping is prohibited pursuant to § 1202 of the Vehicle and Traffic Law or by this chapter, where parking spaces are in conflict with such prohibitions.
A. 
Each parking meter shall operate so as to indicate that the appropriate fee has been deposited in such meter.
B. 
Each parking meter shall display a signal indicating the expiration of the time period associated with the deposit of fees.
The Highway Department shall be responsible for the installation of parking meters and their operation and maintenance. The Police Department shall be responsible for the policing and supervision of parking meters in the Village.

Parking meter rates shall be established from time to time by resolution of the Board of Trustees.
The Village Clerk/Treasurer shall keep a record of the collection of fees made from all parking meters in the Village and shall credit such fees to the general fund.
A. 
Deposit of fee required. No person shall park a vehicle in a parking space of any parking meter zone adjacent to a parking meter during the hours of parking meter operation unless the appropriate fee is immediately deposited in such meter, or the meter has sufficient time showing that has not expired.

B. 
Prohibited parking. No person shall park a vehicle in a parking space of any parking meter zone adjacent to a parking meter during the hours of parking meter operation while such meter is displaying a signal indicating the expiration of the time period associated with the deposit of fees.
No person shall deposit or attempt to deposit in any parking meter any slug, button or any other device or substance as substitutes for coins of United States currency.

It shall be unlawful for any person to deface, tamper with, damage, open or willfully break, destroy, or impair the usefulness of any parking meter or parking pay station.

No person shall deposit coins in a parking meter to enable him/her to park a vehicle in the parking meter space regulated thereby for a period longer than two hours, or for longer than three hours on West Genesee Street between Jordan Street and Hannum Street.
