The maximum speed limits in this ordinance have been established
according to 75 Pa.C.S.A. §§ 3362 and 3363 based upon
statutory speed limits for urban districts and residential districts
or engineering studies in accordance with Pennsylvania Department
of Transportation Publication 212, Official Traffic Control Devices.

Any operator of a vehicle who shall operate
a vehicle or tractor at a speed in excess of that established therefor,
upon any highway or portion thereof specified in this article, shall,
upon summary conviction thereof before a District Justice, be sentenced
to pay a fine and costs in such amounts as may be provided for under
the Pennsylvania Motor Vehicle Code,[1] as amended.
