A.
The purpose of this chapter is to supersede the provisions
of the Public Officers Law § 3, and Town Law § 23 as it
relates to residency of the Town Comptroller.
B.
The Town Comptroller, as a qualification
for his or her office, must be a resident of Onondaga County or an adjacent
county and/or any political subdivision therein.
