Smoking shall be prohibited at the following
Burlington Township facilities:
A.
All Township-owned buildings.
B.
Sylvan Lake Recreational Facility, including the designated
bathing beach area, under the picnic pavilion, inside the concession
or rest room building, on or around the children's play structure.
C.
All other Township-owned recreation areas, including,
but not limited to, playgrounds, tot-lots, athletic fields, sideline
areas, seating areas, bike paths, and walking paths.
D.
Smoking is prohibited in Township-owned vehicles.
Smoking shall be permitted at the designated
parking areas for the Township owned buildings, Sylvan Lake beach
recreation facility, and all other Township recreation areas as set
forth above.
"No Smoking" signs and/or international "No
Smoking" symbol shall be clearly, sufficiently, and conspicuously
posted in every building and recreation facility or other place where
smoking is regulated by this article. Every building or area regulated
by this article shall have posted at every entrance a conspicuous
sign clearly stating that smoking is not allowed.
Any person who violates any provision of this
Ordinance shall be subject to the following penalties:
