The Township government shall consist of the Mayor and Council and such appointive officers and employees as are provided by this chapter or otherwise authorized pursuant to law. It shall be organized within departments, offices, boards and agencies as hereinafter established or provided in this chapter.

The Mayor shall be the chief executive officer of the Township. In addition to the office of the Mayor, the following administrative departments are hereby established:
A. 
Department of Administration.
B. 
Department of Health.
C. 
Department of Finance.
D. 
Department of Assessments.
E. 
Police Department.
F. 
Department of Planning.
G. 
Department of Public Works.
H. 
Department of Parks and Recreation.
I. 
Office of the Township Attorney.
