Any applicant who requests the issuance, reissuance or renewal of
any license or permit issued by or requiring the approval of the Township
Council, or of any agency or department of the Township which issues
permits, shall be required to pay any delinquent assessments, fees
and/or charges including but not limited to property taxes, water,
sewer charges and any IP related charges if he/she is the owner of
said property where the business or activity is to be conducted.
Any license or permit issued by the Township Council or any permit
issued by an agency or department of the Township may be revoked or
suspended by the Township Council when any licensee, who is an owner
of the property upon which the licensed business or activity is conducted,
has failed to pay the taxes due on the property for at least 3 consecutive
quarters.
Upon payment of the delinquent assessments, fees and/or charges,
including but not limited to property taxes, water, sewer charges
and any IP related charges, the license or permit shall be restored.
The provisions of this article shall not apply to or include any
alcoholic beverage license or permit issued pursuant to the Alcoholic
Beverage Control Act, N.J.S.A. 33:1-1 et seq.
