The Village of Endicott should enter into individual contracts with each of those retired Village of Endicott employees who retired prior to December 31, 1995. For those Village of Endicott employees who retired prior to January 1, 1970, they shall receive Village health insurance without costs. For the Village of Endicott employees who retired prior to December 31, 1995, and after January 1, 1970, they shall pay the following amounts for insurance coverage:
A. 
Family policy: a maximum of $500 per year.
B. 
Individual policy: a maximum of $250 per year.
C. 
Persons age 65 and older: a maximum of $200 per year.
Those Village of Endicott employees who have reached the age of 65 or older and are enrolled in a Medicare plan shall be authorized to remain enrolled in the Village of Endicott Health and Prescription Drug Program.
The Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Endicott hereby direct the Human Resource Department to execute a contract with each of the aforementioned retired employees in accordance with this article.
