The National Electrical Code, 1993 Edition,
as published by the National Fire Protection Association, is hereby
adopted as the Electrical Code of the Borough of Evans City, Butler
County, Pennsylvania, for the control and regulation of electrical
installations, and each and all of the regulations, provisions, conditions
and terms of said National Electrical Code (NEC) are hereby referred
to, adopted and made a part hereof as if fully set forth in this chapter,
with the additions, insertions, deletions and changes, if any, set
forth in the following sections.
Any person who shall violate a provision of
this chapter or the National Electrical Code adopted herewith or who
shall fail to comply with any of the requirements thereof shall be
guilty of a summary offense punishable by a fine of not more than
$1,000, plus costs of prosecution for each offense, or by imprisonment
not exceeding 30 days, or both such fine and imprisonment.
