The Department shall be headed by a Director
who shall be qualified by education and experience.
The Department shall perform or supervise all
appropriate functions associated with:
A. The administration of a centralized system of risk
management, liability exposure control, and damage claims control.
B. Enforcement of codes adopted by the Township related
to housing and property maintenance, environmental sanitation, and
quality of life.
C. A centralized system of promoting environmentally
responsible practices in municipal operations, as well as supporting
and promoting such practices by other local public entitles and throughout
the community by private businesses, organizations and citizens.
D. Such other administrative or centralized services
as may be assigned by the Township Manager.
The Department shall be organized pursuant to plan approved as provided in Article
VI, §
3-22.
