A penalty in the amount of $20 be and hereby
is established for any check paid to the Borough of Glassboro, or
any department or agency thereof, which is returned unpaid due to
insufficient funds.
Said penalty shall be payable immediately upon
notification by the Borough that any check was returned unpaid for
insufficient funds. If not paid immediately, the penalty will be added,
where applicable, to the property tax lien or water and sewer tax
lien against the property of the issuer of the check which was returned
unpaid for insufficient funds.
