Township of West Amwell, NJ Article I Deputy Municipal Clerk

§ 33-1 Office created.

There be and is hereby created the office of Deputy Municipal Clerk of the Township of West Amwell, Hunterdon County, New Jersey.

§ 33-2 Term of office.

The term of said Deputy Municipal Clerk shall be for one year, beginning January 1 of each year.

§ 33-3 Compensation.

A. The salary and compensation of the Deputy Municipal Clerk shall be fixed and determined by the governing body at the beginning of said term, on January 1 of each year.

B. Said salary and compensation of the Deputy Municipal Clerk shall be payable at such time and period as the salary and compensation of the Municipal Clerk shall be paid.

§ 33-4 Powers and duties.

The Deputy Municipal Clerk shall have all the powers and perform all the duties of the Municipal Clerk during such times and for such specific periods as the Municipal Clerk shall be absent.
