[Adopted 7-27-1978 (Secs. 2-2 and 2-3 of the 1985 Code of Ordinances)]
Whenever the Judge of Probate is a party or is interested in any proceeding about to be heard in the Probate Court or is absent or unable to perform his duties or there is a vacancy in such office, the duties of the Probate Judge shall be temporarily performed by the Town Solicitor.[1]

The term of appointment of the Town Solicitor to sit in the absence of the Probate Judge shall coincide with the Town Solicitor's term of office.
