[HISTORY: Adopted by the Town Board of the Town of Hamburg 1958 and confirmed annually at organization meeting. Amendments noted where applicable.]
Regular sessions of the Board shall be held the second and fourth Mondays of each month starting at 8:30 p.m., except on legal holidays which fall on Monday or are celebrated on Monday.
Items to be placed on the agenda are to be in the office of the Town Clerk not later than noon of the preceding Thursday. All items will be considered in the order of receipt.
A copy of the agenda for the current meeting shall be posted on the bulletin board in the foyer by 7:00 p.m. on the day of the meeting. A copy of the agenda is sent to each member of the Town Board.
A person desiring to speak on an item on the agenda shall so indicate by standing. When recognized by the Chairman, he shall state his name and address, and may speak for not longer than three minutes on any one subject. The Chairman will endeavor to give the floor to speakers in the order of appearance.
Verbal comments will be heard by the Board at the time and in the position indicated by the agenda. Complaints and remarks relative to new matters shall be limited to three minutes and the Board will table such matters for investigation and appropriate future action.
Fair and courteous treatment shall be accorded to the Board and to all persons who appear before it.
