This chapter shall be known and may be cited
as the "City of Ithaca Site Work Ordinance."
As used in this chapter, unless the context
or subject matter otherwise requires, the following terms shall have
the meanings indicated:
Noncombustible, earth-like materials, including sod, loam,
sand, gravel, stone or similar materials. Fill shall not include sludge
or any metallic putrescible or combustible materials.
A portion of land, considered as a unit, devoted to a certain
use or occupied by a building or group of buildings that are united
by a common interest or use and the customary accessories and open
spaces belonging to the same.
A project of the City of Ithaca Public Works Department.
