No person shall, during an alarm of fire, willfully
hinder, prevent or deter by any device whatsoever any fireman or other
person going to or returning from the place where any building or
other property is on fire or from which an alarm proceeds, or from
aiding and assisting in extinguishing the fire in any building or
other property on fire, or from rendering lawful assistance in abating
or quelling such alarm of fire, if false, or shall willfully obstruct
or hinder the passage of any fire engine, hook and ladder truck or
hose cart in going to or from the place from which an alarm of fire
proceeds or where any building or other property may be burning.
No person shall willfully cut, deface or injure
any fire engine, hook and ladder truck, hose cart, hose or any other
apparatus or implement used for extinguishing fires.
No person shall interfere with, deface or mutilate
any fire alarm box or fire alarm system or any part thereof, or any
of the property appertaining to or belonging to the Volunteer Fire
Department or any apparatus connected therewith or shall knowingly
give, send or cause to be given or sent a false fire alarm.

Unless another penalty is expressly provided herein, any person who violates any provision of this chapter shall, upon conviction, be subject to the penalties provided by §
1-15 of this Code. A separate offense shall be deemed committed on each day during or on which a violation occurs or continues.
