The following fees shall be charged and collected
by the Police Division for furnishing photostatic copies or machine-duplicated
copies of public records or photographs in the possession or custody
of the Police Division:
A. For any copies of documents and reports:

(1) First page to 10th page: $0.75 per page.
(2) Eleventh page to 20th page: $0.50 per page.
(3) All pages over 20 pages: $0.25 per page.
B. Photographs.
(1) For any eight-by-ten photograph: $3 per copy.
(2) For any three-by-five photograph: $3 per copy.

A. Qualified members of the Police Division of the City
may perform fingerprinting service for members of the general public.
The service shall be provided in that area set aside for the purpose
of fingerprinting in the Police Division, Paterson, New Jersey. Fingerprint
cards will be provided by the party requesting the fingerprinting
service.
B. Hours of fingerprinting services.
(1) The fingerprinting service as set forth in Subsection
A hereinabove shall be available at the Police Division of the City during the following hours:
(a)
Monday: 12:00 noon to 3:30 p.m.
(b)
Tuesday through Friday, inclusive: 10:00 a.m.
to 3:30 p.m.
(2) The services as provided during these hours shall
be subject to the priority of demands of Police Division personnel
for providing official fingerprinting services such as for the booking
of prisoners.
C. Fees; exemptions.
(1) The fee for the fingerprinting service to be provided
for members of the general public is $10 per fingerprint card.

(2) No fee shall be paid for fingerprinting services when
the services are required for the issuance of municipal licenses or
permits to be issued by the City, the licenses and permits including
but not limited to firearms purchasers' activity, solicitor and canvasser
permits, applicants for alcoholic beverage control licenses, special
police applicants and others as may be required from time to time
by ordinance.

D. The hours that the services are to be provided and
the fees to be charged for the services rendered shall be posted in
a prominent place in the main lobby of City Hall and in the reception
area of the Police Division of the City.

All fees collected under the provisions of this
article shall be deposited with the Revenue Collections Division within
the Department of Finance.
Nothing contained in this article shall be construed
as requiring the Police Division to furnish any copy of any record
unless the same is a public record.
Nothing in this article shall be construed to
prohibit or prevent any person from examining any public records in
the possession of the Police Division or from making his own written
copy thereof.
