A. 
No autocab driver shall stand or stop his or her vehicle on any public street or at any public place other than at an authorized autocab stand and solicit passengers.
B. 
No person shall solicit passengers for an autocab except the driver of said cab and only when he or she is seated in the driver's seat of the cab in question.
No autocab shall seek employment by:
A. 
Repeatedly driving his or her autocab along and street.
B. 
Interfering with the proper access or egress from any place of public gathering, such as a theater, hotel, grocery store, railway station or medical facility.
All accidents involving vehicles licensed under this Part 2, except rented motor vehicles, shall promptly be reported by the driver of said licensed vehicle to the Taxicab Division, on forms provided by the Taxicab Division, within 24 hours after the accident.
Every driver of a vehicle licensed under this Part 2 shall, upon upon completion of each trip, search said vehicle for any property lost or left therein. Any property found shall, unless sooner claimed by or delivered to the owner of said property, be delivered to and left at the Taxicab Division within 24 hours after its discovery.
A. 
No autocab driver shall refuse or neglect to drive any orderly person, upon request, to any authorized destination in Paterson unless his or her vehicle is full or the driver is unable to drive any person at the time of the request.
B. 
Anyone engaged in the operation of an autocab shall behave in a professional manner and shall not use profanity or any other indecent or insulting language.
C. 
Anyone engaged in the operation of an autocab shall be neat and clean in appearance, and all facial hair shall be well-groomed at all times.
D. 
No one shall operate an autocab while bare-chested, barefooted or while wearing clothing which is indecent or insulting to any passenger or prospective passenger.
No person shall in a vehicle licensed under this Part 2 knowingly transport or cause to be transported or aid or assist in obtaining transportation for any person for the purpose of committing or attempting to commit a crime or a disorderly persons offense.
An autocab driver shall not pick up or discharge any passenger in the roadway, but shall pull the autocab to the curb, so that passengers do not have to cross the roadway in order to enter or exit the autocab.
It shall be a violation of this section for anyone while operating an autocab or any other vehicle covered under this Part 2 to violate any state or municipal motor vehicle or traffic law, including but not limited to the laws pertaining to parking and the wearing of seat belts and child restraints.
