Fishing from the shore is allowed only in designated areas.
Fishing is not permitted in the beach area.
Fishing shall only be allowed during the times the Three Oaks
Recreation Area is open to the public.
No person shall bring live bait into the Three Oaks Recreation
Area or release any live bait into the Three Oaks Recreation Area
lakes.
The catching of baitfish, shellfish, frogs or other aquatic
organisms is prohibited.
No person shall remove any fish from the Three Oaks Recreation
Area by means of seines, nets or other devices as defined in 515 ILCS
5/1-50, 1998, known as the "Fish and Aquatic Life Code."
Unless authorized by the City Manager or his/her designated representatives, any person having in his or her possession fish removed from Three Oaks Recreation Area shall be fined as set forth in Chapter 248 Fines, for each such fish found to be in his or her possession.
Size limits shall be placed on aquatic life within the body
of water commonly known as "Crystal Lake." All fish, channel catfish,
largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, walleye pike, northern pike, muskellunge,
bluegill, redear sunfish, crappie, white or black, and yellow perch,
when taken or in the possession of a person after having been taken
from the water of Crystal Lake, shall be as follows:
