As authorized under the provisions of C.G.S. § 8-215, the Town of Old Saybrook hereby grants and allows the abatement of 50% of the Old Saybrook real property taxes with respect to those premises situated on Sheffield Street, Old Saybrook, Connecticut, known and designated as "Project #106-HSD-1, Saybrook Village Phase II." Said premises are, by this article, classified as property to be used for housing solely for low- or moderate-income persons or families.
The Board of Selectmen of the Town of Old Saybrook is hereby authorized to enter into a contract with the owners of the premises, Elderly Housing Development Corp. of Old Saybrook, to implement the provisions of this article.
The premises so designated are known as Lot #1 and Lot #2 on a map entitled "Division Plan Property of Eugene C. & Christine B. McGuire Sheffield Street Old Saybrook, Connecticut Date: January 21, 1981 Scale: 1" - 40' Revisions: 2-2-1981 - 2-6-1981 - 9-1-1981," which map is on file in the Old Saybrook Town Clerk's Office.
