Rappahannock County by executing this adoption
agreement hereby establishes a Flexible Benefits Plan. The employer hereby declares that its Flexible Benefits
Plan will consist of the provisions of this adoption agreement which
the employer selects and the Integrated Flexible Benefits Plan for
Employers, which is incorporated by reference. (See plan Section 2.07.)
The effective date means the effective date
of this Flexible Benefits Plan, which is November 1, 1989. (See plan
Section 2.05.)
The first plan year will be the period beginning
November 1, 1989, and ending June 30, 1990. All subsequent plan years
will be the twelve-month period beginning July 1 and ending June 30.

The name of the Flexible Benefits Plan is the
"Rappahannock County Flexible Benefits Plan." (See plan Section 2.13.)
The employer elects to include in this Flexible
Benefits Plan health insurance benefits provided under Policy No.
25308000 issued by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Virginia.
An employee will be eligible to participate
in the Flexible Benefits Plan if he/she is a permanent part-time or
full-time employee of the County of Rappahannock.
As used in this Article, the following terms
shall have the meanings indicated:
COMPENSATION (plan Section 2.04)
The amount earned for services rendered to the employer,
including regular pay, overtime pay, bonuses, commissions and other
cash remuneration.
EMPLOYEE
Any person who is employed by the employer, except for the
following employees or classes of individuals who will not be considered
employees for purposes of participating in the plan:
A.
Temporary full- or part-time employees;
B.
Contracted laborers, consultants or other persons;
and
By executing this adoption agreement, the employer
hereby acknowledges receipt of the Integrated Flexible Benefits Plan
for Employers.
