[Adopted as Sec. 17-4 of the 1996 Code]
The Town, pursuant to the provisions of § 7-246 of the General
Statutes, hereby establishes a Water Pollution Control Authority having such
powers as are granted by the General Statutes, in addition to any powers existing
under the provisions of any special act.
The Town, pursuant to § 7-246 of the General Statutes, designates
the Board of Directors as the Water Pollution Control Authority.
The Water Pollution Control Authority shall include all of the area
presently under the jurisdiction and control of the Water Commission and any
other areas as the Water Pollution Control Authority may from time to time
deem necessary or advisable.
