There is hereby created the position of Assistant Treasurer for the Borough of Barnegat Light.
The Assistant Treasurer shall be appointed by the Mayor with the advice and consent of the Borough Council and shall serve a term of office of one year, commencing on January 1 of the year of appointment and ending on December 31 of the year of appointment, or until a successor shall be appointed and qualified.
The Assistant Treasurer shall perform all such duties as are assigned from time to time by the Chief Financial Officer or as requested by the Mayor or Borough Council.
