There shall be a Director of Planning, who shall
be appointed by the Mayor, subject to confirmation by the City Council,
and who shall serve for a term of two years.
The Director shall be responsible for the administration
of policies developed by the Mayor and the City Council, the development
of short-range and long-range planning principles and the continual
updating of the Master Plan of the City of Marlborough in conjunction
with all appropriate boards and agencies of the City.
