This ordinance is enacted for the following purposes: to promote the health, safety, morals and general welfare of the inhabitants of the Township of Springfield by preventing, correcting and preserving the integrity of buildings and parts of buildings, and as an indirect result, maintaining neighborhood qualities. It is not the intent hereof to apply these requirements to the standards which are a basis for the issuance of Certificate of Occupancy required by Chapter 20 or Chapter
143 of the Code of the Township of Springfield.
Failure to comply with the provisions of this ordinance shall constitute an offense punishable under the provisions of Chapter
1, Article
II, as amended, of the Code of the Township of Springfield.
