The effective date of an amendment to the Townsend
Zoning Bylaws, subject to its approval by the Attorney General as
required by Chapter 40A, is the date on which such amendment was voted
by Town Meeting.
The provisions of this bylaw, so far as they
are the same as those of existing bylaws, shall be construed as continuations
thereof and not as new enactments. A reference in a bylaw, which has
not been repealed, to provisions of bylaws which are revised and reenacted
therein, shall be construed as applying to such provisions as revised
and reenacted.
The provisions of these bylaws are severable
from each other and the invalidity of any provision or section shall
not invalidate any other provisions or section thereof.
