There is hereby established the Mayor's Division
of the East Orange Golf Course, which shall be responsible for the
development and implementation of golfing and other community-oriented
activities and programs at the East Orange Golf Course.
The Manager shall be a City officer appointed
by the Mayor and confirmed by the City Council.
The Manager of the Mayor's Division of the East
Orange Golf Course, under the direction of the Mayor, shall have the
following duties and responsibilities:
A. Administer, supervise and direct the personnel and
work of this Division as set forth in this article.
B. Periodically evaluate the programs of the Division
and determine the needs of the public relative to providing services
at the golf course.
C. Assume responsibility for the development and implementation
of programs and activities aimed at meeting the needs of the community
at the golf course.
D. Implement programs developed by the Mayor and City
Council designed to promote the use of the golf course.
E. Maintain liaison with citizen groups interested in
participating in programs and activities promulgated by the Division.
F. Coordinate public and private agencies and use their
resources for programs and activities developed by the Division.
The Mayor's Division of the East Orange Golf
Course shall have such personnel as may be provided for by the budget
and set forth in the Salary Ordinance of the City. Said personnel
shall be qualified by experience and training to perform the duties
assigned by the Manager.
