There are other ways in which a person's (or
persons') complaints may be resolved besides asking for a fair hearing.
A person so affected can ask to meet with a representative of the
MTRC. Said complaints will be given prompt and courteous attention
and, if the matter is not settled, a fair hearing may still be requested.
If a person who has a complaint wishes services to be continued until
the hearing, a request for a hearing must be made within 10 days of
the mailing date of the notice for said hearing. Also, after 90 days
have elapsed from the date of the action or inaction, the right to
a fair hearing is terminated.
