A. Chapel Park and Draxler Park shall be open from 6:00
a.m. to 9:00 p.m. until such time as adequate lighting is installed
in such parks when the hours that the parks are open shall be changed
to 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
B. Roger Sterling Park and Elmer Goodwin Park from October
1 to March 30 shall be open from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and from
April 1 to September 30 shall be open from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
C. At all other times no person shall enter within the
boundaries of such public parks or use the recreational facilities
situate therein unless a written permit is obtained from the Recreation
Director of the Town of Southport.
The Recreation Director of the Town of Southport shall have the authority to grant special permits for the use of the public parks and recreational facilities in the Town during the hours prohibited in §
380-3 and to enact such rules and regulations as he or she may deem necessary for the proper use of such facilities during the times that such special permits shall be effective, including procedures in making application therefor and the denial of such permits if it is found that granting same would not be in the best interest of the health, safety, morals and general welfare of the inhabitants of the Town.

No person shall operate a motorcycle, motor-driven
cycle or motor vehicles in any of the public parks and playgrounds
owned by the Town of Southport, excluding the area known as the "Bovier
Lands," except in such areas of said public parks which have been
established as highways or parking areas which are to be used for
the purpose of entering, parking and leaving such public parks and
provided the same are properly licensed and operated in accordance
with the provisions of the Vehicle and Traffic Law. Parking is hereby
prohibited on the east side of the roadway entering Chapel Park from
the northerly end of Personius Road and continuing along such roadway
to its end at the westerly boundary of Chapel Park.

The consumption and use of alcoholic beverages
in the public parks and playgrounds owned or maintained by the Town
of Southport be and the same hereby is prohibited.
