Uniform Construction Codes fees (§
245-7A).
A. Residential (R-3) flat rate fees:
(1) Porch or deck up to 300 square feet: $225 (three inspections).
(a)
For each additional 100 square feet add $20.
(b)
If roof is covered add $75 (one inspection).
(2) Carport or roof constructed over patio, porch or deck up to 300 square
feet: $225 (three inspections).

(3) Roof covering/replacement: $140 (two inspections).
(4) Aboveground swimming pool or hot tub: $225 (two inspections).
(5) In-ground swimming pool: $345 (four inspections).

B. Building.
(1) First $100,000: $100 for the first $1,000 of job;
$16.50 for each additional $1,000.
(2) From $101,000 to $500,000: $1,733.50, plus $13.75
for each $1,000 over $100,000.
(3) From $501,000 to $3,000,000: $7,233.50, plus $11.50
for each $1,000 over $500,000.

J. All fees include initial inspection and one reinspection per required
inspection (unless otherwise identified). A second reinspection and
each additional inspection thereafter shall be charged $85 each, due
before the inspection is scheduled.
K. Investigation fee of $200 shall be charged in addition to any other
required inspection fees when a certificate of occupancy, certificate
of compliance, or certificate of approval is not obtained within one
year of completing work.
L. State of Pennsylvania fee:
(1) UCC fee: $4.50 will be added to each of the above permits.
M. Inspection fee not associated with above permits or fees: $200 per
inspection.
Fire insurance claim certificate: $25.

Licensed contractors from other cities of the first, second or third class in Pennsylvania, or who are qualified by right of any state contractor's license to be engaged as a contractor, shall be registered in the Department of Planning and Codes without examination. For such registration the contractor shall pay a registration certificate fee of $75 for general trade contractors, or $50 for specialized trade contractors, which covers such work or contracts taken at such time for fulfillment and for each succeeding registration certificate fee, together with the payment of the annual business license fee, to the Director of Finance or their designee (§
422-5).
A. Existing Structures Code. Pursuant to Section ES-112.3, Appeal fees, a fee of $500, payable in advance, shall be paid for each appeal taken to the Property Maintenance Board of Appeals from a decision of the Bureau to cover the costs of mailing notices and the hearing of the appeal (§
435-11).

B. Violation ticket fines and penalties.

(1) Violation ticket fines.
(a) First violation ticket within a twelve-month period, violation tickets
shall be issued in the amount of $50.
(b) Second violation ticket within a twelve-month period, violation tickets
shall be issued in the amount of $100.
(c) Third violation ticket within a twelve-month period, violation tickets
shall be issued in the amount of $150.
(2) Violation ticket penalties. If the person in receipt of a violation ticket does not pay the fine or request a hearing within 10 days, the person will be subject to a penalty set forth in this section. Failure of the person to make payment within 20 days shall make the person subject to a nontraffic citation in accordance with Chapter
435, 435-6.
(a) If a person in receipt $50 ticket is not paid or a request for a
hearing is not made within 10 days, a penalty of $50 for days 11 through
20 would be added. For a total of $100 on a late ticket.
(b) If a person in receipt $100 ticket is not paid or a request for a
hearing is not made within 10 days. a penalty of $100 for days 11
through 20 would be added. For a total of $200 on a late ticket.
(c) If a person in receipt $150 ticket is not paid or a request for a
hearing is not made within 10 days, a penalty of $150 for days 11
through 20 would be added. For a total of $300 on a late ticket.

fee and file requisite forms, as well as a late fee of $300.
K. Health violation ticket fines and penalties.

(1) Health violation ticket fines. Health violation ticket fines may

The processing fee for each credit card, debit card, electronic
check, other card or electronic form of payment shall be 2.25% of
the total payment being made to the City for the cost of processing
the payment.

A. The City
and any attorney or private collector collecting delinquent real estate
taxes and municipal fees on behalf of the City are hereby authorized
to accept payment of delinquent real estate taxes and municipal fees
by credit card or debit card.
B. Where
payment is by credit card or debit card, any charges or fees charged
by the credit card or debit card company and/or the credit card or
debit card servicing agent shall become part of the delinquent real
estate tax or municipal claim and be charged immediately to the credit
card or debit card used to make payment.
C. The above
applies to credit card or debit card payments made by mail, telephone,
the Internet or in person.
