There are hereby established subdivision standards
and procedures for all the incorporated area of the City. These are
part of a long-range general plan to guide and facilitate orderly,
beneficial growth of the community and to promote the public health,
safety, convenience, comfort, prosperity and general welfare. More
specifically, but not in limitation, the purpose of these standards
and procedures is to provide for:
A.
The coordination and beneficial design of streets.
B.
Adequate open spaces for traffic, recreation, light
and air.
C.
A distribution of population and traffic which will
tend to create conditions favorable to health, safety, convenience,
comfort, prosperity and general welfare.
D.
Assurance, insofar as possible, for purchasers of
lots that they are buying a commodity which is suitable for their
development and use.
E.
Adequate public services in a healthy, safe, efficient
and assured manner.
