A. 
Facility will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. No trespassing 9:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. Violators will be subject to prosecution
B. 
Experienced and inexperienced skateboarders, in-line skaters, BMX bicyclists, and basketball players use this facility.
C. 
This area has been designed to provide users with a moderate challenge for recreation purposes and to help develop their skills. It is not possible to design and build a facility of this nature without hard surfaces. The same hard surfaces that challenge the user pose significant risk of injury if the user falls.
A. 
This facility is unsupervised. Users assume all risks inherent in the use of this facility. Use may result in serious injury.
B. 
Skate, bike, and play basketball with safety in mind and remember weather conditions may create unsafe surfaces for users.
A. 
It is required that all skaters, skateboarders, and BMX bicyclists wear:
(1) 
Protective helmets.
(2) 
Elbow pads.
(3) 
Knee pads.
(4) 
Wrist pads.
B. 
All parents should require their children to wear this protective equipment while using this facility. Failure to wear protective equipment will expose users to serious injury upon falling or collision with other users.
A. 
No glass containers, food or beverage allowed on the basketball or skating surface.
B. 
No other items such as benches, tables, wood materials, or other objects used as ramps or jumps are allowed in the skate park facility.
C. 
No drugs, alcohol or tobacco products will be permitted at this facility.
D. 
No loud music, disorderly behavior or profanity.
E. 
No skating or biking against traffic on ramps or pipes.
F. 
Do not proceed down a ramp until clear of other skaters.
G. 
No littering. Please use trash cans.
In case of serious injury or other emergencies go to the police station to call 911.
Madison Parks and Recreation Department reserves the right to:
A. 
Close the facility for any circumstances deemed necessary.
B. 
Restrict entry to the facility and to ask persons to leave the facility if any of the rules are not followed or if unsafe or inappropriate behavior is observed.
A.

B. 
Messages may be left 24 hours per day.
Please remember this is your park. Please cooperate and make this an enjoyable and safe facility.
