As soon as any complete appeal or application
is filed in accordance with the foregoing sections, the case shall
be placed on the calendar. The applicant shall be notified of the
time set for the hearing thereon.
The time for hearing may be adjourned from the
time fixed therefor, for good cause, upon the motion of the applicant
or other person interested in the action, or on the Board’s
own motion, provided, however, that where such adjournment would extend
the statutory period within which the Board is required to act, the
consent of the applicant shall be evidenced in writing or shall be
made on the record.
