As used in the code adopted by this chapter, the following terms shall have the meanings indicated:
CITY OF HACKENSACK
The Board of Health, Borough of Hillsdale, New Jersey.
A code defining and prohibiting air pollution, providing for the inspection of premises by any enforcing official, providing for the removal or abatement, recovery of expenses incurred by the Board of Health in removing or abating air pollution and prescribing penalties for violations is hereby established pursuant to Chapter 188, Laws of 1950. A copy of said code is annexed hereto and made a part thereof without the inclusion of the text thereof herein.
The said code established and adopted by this chapter is described and commonly known as the "Air Pollution Control Code of the City of Hackensack (1978)."
Three (3) copies of the said "Air Pollution Code of the City of Hackensack" (1978) have been placed on file in the office of the Health Officer of this local Board of Health upon the introduction of this chapter and will remain on file there for the use and examination of the public.
Any person, persons, firm or corporation or for that matter anyone who violates or neglects to comply with any provision of this chapter or code established herein or notice issued pursuant thereto shall, upon conviction thereof, be liable to a penalty as set forth in § 323-4A of this code.
