In accordance with the provisions of the Local Public Contracts Law, Chapter 198 of the Laws of 1971, N.J.S.A. 40A:11-9, there is hereby established in and for the Borough of Kinnelon a Purchasing Board.
The Purchasing Board of the Borough of Kinnelon shall consist of three members; the Borough Clerk, the Borough Engineer and the Chief of Police. Any two of the foregoing officers shall constitute a quorum for the performance of the Board's duties.
The powers and duties of the Purchasing. Board shall consist of receiving bids for the purchase of materials, services and supplies required by the Borough and the making of recommendations to the Mayor and Council for the acceptance of said bids prior to the next regular public meeting of said Mayor and Council.
