The office of the Borough Clerk at the Municipal
Building shall be open during normal business hours Monday through
Friday of each week, except holidays. Regular office hours shall be
fixed and determined by the Borough Administrator, subject to the
approval of the Mayor and Council. During such hours, the Clerk or
Deputy Clerk shall be present to transact such business and perform
such duties as may be required by law and as may be deemed necessary
by the Council for the efficient conduct of the affairs of the Borough.
The Borough Clerk or the Deputy Borough Clerk
shall attend all meetings of the Mayor and Council.

The Borough Clerk shall receive compensation as fixed annually
by the Borough Council. Additionally, when the Borough Clerk is required
to be present at an election or election-related matter during a time
when other municipal employees are off, such as late-night voter registration,
primary election day and general election day, he or she will receive
additional pay for such time spent at a rate of pay calculated at
time and a 1.5 of the then year current hourly rate.
