Pursuant to Act No. 247 of 1968, known as the
"Pennsylvania Municipalities Planning Code," as amended, supplemented
and in effect, there is hereby created a Township Planning Commission,
which shall have all the powers and duties conferred upon it by law
and other powers vested in it by law or ordinance.
[Amended 6-9-2020 by Ord. No. 02-2020]
The Township Planning Commission shall consist of not fewer
than three nor more than nine members, as the Board of Supervisors
may from time to time determine by resolution. The members shall be

their Commission duties. The Commission members shall elect annually
a Chairman, who will preside over the meetings of the Commission,
and a Vice Chairman. The Chairman shall not serve for more than two
successive annual terms and shall not succeed himself/herself.
In addition to the powers, duties and responsibilities
conferred upon said Commission by law, on or before March of each
year, the Township Planning Commission shall make an annual report
to the Board of Supervisors, showing its transactions and recommendations
for the preceding calendar year. Said report shall review in substance
all transactions and recommendations made during the year, together
with any new recommendations which the Commission might wish to include.
