The Borough of Pleasant Hills shall collect tapping fees as defined herein on behalf of the Pleasant Hills Authority at the same time that it issues a building permit on the subject property or at such time as it collects its own tapping fee, whichever occurs first.

The tapping fee authorized by Resolution No. 254 of the Pleasant Hills Authority establishes a general tapping fee, and the fees referenced herein will be collected from applicants within the geographic limits of the Borough of Pleasant Hills. The amount of the tapping fee shall be established following a resolution of the Pleasant Hills Authority, and the amount of this fee may be amended from time to time.
The Borough of Pleasant Hills shall remit the tapping fees, collected on property within the Borough of Pleasant Hills, on behalf of the Pleasant Hills Authority to the Pleasant Hills Authority, retaining 5% of the total not to exceed $1,000 for those fees calculated on multiple equivalent dwelling units (EDU's).
