Every telephone, telegraph, electric light, electric power and every other like company or corporation shall, prior to the installation or relocation of poles to be used in the operation of its business, submit an application for approval thereof to the Municipal Engineer, together with a plan or sketch showing the location of said poles.
All poles owned by a telephone, telegraph, electric light, electric power or other company or corporation located on the public streets, alleys or highways of the Town of Phillipsburg shall, at all times, be legibly marked with the name of the company owning the same.

Any company or corporation failing to comply with any of the provisions of this chapter shall, upon conviction thereof, be punished as provided in Chapter 1, General Provisions, Article II, General Penalty; and each 30 days that such violation exists shall constitute a separate offense.
