It is the purpose of this zone to provide appropriate areas of the Town for higher density, predominantly residential development.
In the Residential (R-50) Zone, no lot shall be used and no structure shall be erected, altered or occupied for any purpose except the following:
A. 
All uses permitted in the Residential (R-75) Zone.
Permitted accessory uses shall be as follows:
A. 
Private garages and carports.
B. 
Swimming pools and other recreational facilities for residential uses and normally conducted on individual lots.
C. 
Fences, lampposts, trellises and storage sheds.
Conditional uses shall be as follows:
A. 
Community residences for the developmentally disabled and community shelter for victims of domestic violence (see Article XVIII).
B. 
Multiple-family dwellings (See Article XVIII).
C. 
Home occupations (See Article XVIII).
