Loitering is hereby prohibited within the Borough of Parkside. Any person who shall be guilty of any act, word or conduct causing or tending to cause a disturbance of the peace and good order of the Borough or causing or tending to cause any danger, discomfort or annoyance to any of the inhabitants of the Borough or user of the Borough streets, thoroughfares or public property or who shall willfully make any loud, boisterous or unseemly noise or disturbance or who shall fight, argue or quarrel or incite others to fight, argue or quarrel or who shall publicly make use of obscene or indecent language or who shall loiter, loaf, assemble, congregate, muster or mill upon any of the public grounds, public streets, sidewalks or thoroughfares in the Borough of Parkside, to the annoyance of peaceable residents nearby or travelers upon the public streets, sidewalks or thoroughfares or citizens lawfully upon any of the public grounds in the Borough, whereby the public peace is broken or disturbed or the traveling public annoyed shall be guilty of loitering.
Any person who shall violate any of the provisions of this chapter shall, upon conviction thereof, be sentenced to pay a fine of not more than $600 and the costs of prosecution and, in default of payment of such fine and costs, to imprisonment for not more than 30 days.
