It shall be unlawful for any vehicle to be operated on the streets and highways of the Borough of Parkside at a rate of speed in excess of 25 miles per hour.
It shall be unlawful to operate any vehicle, including but not limited to motor vehicles, bicycles and motorcycles, on or upon any sidewalk within the Borough of Parkside.
A. 
The Council of the Borough of Parkside shall have the power, by ordinance, to designate and establish stop intersections on any or all streets and highways or to designate any and all streets and highways as one-way streets and highways. Such ordinances shall have the full force and effect as if incorporated in this article and shall be subject to the same fines and penalties as specified in this article.
B. 
The Streets Committee or any other committee designated by Borough Council is hereby authorized to procure and place any signs and notices as may be necessary to enforce the provisions of this article.
C. 
The Borough Public Works Department and its Roadmaster are hereby authorized to procure and erect five school zone signs on East Elbon Road and Blossom Avenue.

No motor vehicle of any kind shall be permitted to park at any time in the Borough of Parkside as follows:
A. 
In a zone designated by the Borough Council of the Borough of Parkside or its designee as a handicapped parking zone, unless the vehicle parked in that handicapped zone is the vehicle authorized to be parked in that handicapped parking zone by the permit for a handicapped parking zone, issued by the Borough Council of the Borough of Parkside, or its designee, for that particular handicapped parking zone.
B. 
Over the time limit at a parking meter or on a street or highway with a time limit for parking.
C. 
In front of a firehouse door or entrance.
D. 
Within 15 feet of any intersecting street.
E. 
In the front or side yard of any property, unless the vehicle is parked in a driveway.
F. 
Facing the wrong direction.
G. 
Opposite the flow of traffic.
H. 
More than six inches from the curb.
I. 
At an improper angle.
J. 
In a posted no-parking zone.
K. 
In a manner that obstructs a crosswalk or sidewalk.
L. 
In front of a private driveway.
M. 
In a manner that constitutes double parking.
N. 
On the sidewalk or curb.
O. 
Within 15 feet of a fire hydrant.
P. 
In a manner that obstructs or blocks vehicular or pedestrian traffic.
Q. 
Within 30 feet of a stop sign.

No motor vehicle having an unloaded weight of more than 10,000 pounds shall park overnight upon any street or highway within the Borough of Parkside.

No truck having an unloaded weight of more than 10,000 pounds shall enter upon or travel upon any street or highway of the Borough of Parkside, other than Edgemont Avenue, except for the purposes of delivery.

Penalty. Any person or persons violating any subsection of this section shall be guilty of a nonmoving traffic violation and shall be subject to a fine not to exceed $15 for each and every offense. Each continuing day of each violation shall be deemed a separate offense for which a separate fine may be assessed. All fines are to be imposed on a per violation/per day basis.
No person shall park a vehicle for longer than the time limit specified upon any of the following described streets or parts thereof:

A. 
Any person violating § 176-6 entitled "Vehicle weight limits," § 176-4A, Prohibiting parking in a handicapped zone, and § 176-4O, Prohibiting parking within 15 feet of a fire hydrant, shall pay a fine of $100, as well as the costs of prosecution, providing the fine and costs are paid in full within seven days of the date of the violation. After seven days from the date of the violation, the fine shall be $150 plus the costs of prosecution.
B. 
Any person violating any other part of this article shall pay a fine of $20, as well as the costs of prosecution, providing the fine and costs are paid in full within seven days of the date of the violation. After seven days from the date of the violation, the fine shall be $50 plus the costs of prosecution.
