No person shall engage in the sale of any merchandise
at any place in the Village, temporarily by use of a motor vehicle
or on foot, without first obtaining a license from the Village Clerk
upon approval by Village Board. Pursuant to § 66.0423, Wis.
Stats., cities and villages may regulate sales by transient merchants,
as defined in § 66.0423, Wis. Stats. "Merchandise" shall
include but not be limited to soda water, popcorn, candy, ice cream,
subscriptions to magazines, books or any other periodicals.

No person shall in any manner, directly or indirectly,
sell merchandise, to include but not limited to food, clothing, fireworks,
and household goods, without first obtaining a seller's permit. Such
permit shall be issued by the Clerk after review and recommendation
from the Village Plan Commission and approval has been granted by
the Village Board.
The fee for a peddler's or transient merchant's license or temporary
or seasonal seller's permit shall be set from time to time by the
Village Board.
In addition to the revocation, suspension or nonrenewal of any license or permit issued under this chapter, any person found to be in violation of any provision of this chapter shall be subject to a penalty as provided in §
1-4 of this Code.
