The Cable Television Advisory Committee shall consist of seven members, each with a term of four years. Terms shall be staggered with no more than three terms ending in any year. Newly created positions shall be for an initial term of three years where four-year terms interfere with the requirement to stagger terms. Appointments to fill vacancies shall be only to complete an unexpired term.
The duties of the Cable Television Advisory Committee shall be as follows:
A. 
Monitor compliance with the chapter, together with all contractual commitments undertaken, as a matter of law, by the company and perform the annual operations review prescribed in subsection 32-2.4.
B. 
Perform such investigations as may appear appropriate with regard to the level of service and efficiency of the company. In that respect, the committee may hold such public hearings as may appear necessary to obtain commentary from both citizens and the company.
C. 
Recommend to the Council and to the company suggested improvements and modifications in performance.
D. 
Obtain information and report same to the council regarding rates and other financial matters involving the company.
E. 
Recommend to the Council and the company a reporting format by which the company shall provide such information as required by this article and such reporting as may be agreed upon between the Township and the company.
F. 
Recommend and implement, where appropriate, local origination and institutional programming, which recommendation shall be made upon consultation with the Lawrence Township Board of Education and other local institutions.
G. 
Provide such other information as may be requested from time to time by the Council with respect to the cable television franchise.
