A. 
All owners and/or keepers of animals or dogs which are found and determined by the Police Department and/or Animal Control Officer to excessively bark or make other excessive or unreasonable noises must restrain and terminate forthwith said barking or noises upon due notice from the Animal Control Officer, Mayor or the Chief of Police.
B. 
Whoever fails, neglects or refuses to so restrain or terminate forthwith said barking or noises upon such due notice from the Animal Control Officer, Mayor or Chief of Police shall be subject to immediate impoundment of any such dog or animal and forfeiture of any such dog's or animal's license.

Whoever violates any provisions of this chapter shall be subject to a fine of $50 for the first offense and $100 for each subsequent offense. Where bodily harm is involved, an additional fine of $100 will be imposed.
