For the purposes of this chapter:
FAMILY
Comprises any or all of the following:

A. 
An individual;
B. 
Spouses or persons living as spouses;
C. 
Parents and children;
D. 
Stepparents and stepchildren;
E. 
Grandparents and grandchildren;
F. 
Persons who share biological parenthood; or
G. 
Other persons related by consanguinity or affinity.
INHABITANTS or OCCUPANTS
All persons who reside in any structure for any period of time (or any period which renders them liable to the per capita tax).
MULTIFAMILY DWELLING UNIT
Any structure whatsoever converted or used for human habitation by persons of two or more families.

OPERATOR
A person other than the owner of a multifamily dwelling unit which other person shall have direct control of and supervision over the operation of such multifamily dwelling unit.
OWNER
Any individual or individuals, partnership, association or corporation owning and operating any multifamily dwelling unit located in Morrisville.
STRUCTURE
Any building or buildings used for human habitation located on one lot or on contiguous lots owned by one individual.
It shall be the duty of every operator, or if there is no operator, it shall be the duty of the owner of every multifamily dwelling unit to file with the Borough Manager of the Borough of Morrisville on or before the last day in June and on or before the first day of January, on forms supplied by the said Borough Manager of the Borough of Morrisville, such forms to be obtained by such operator or owner from the Borough Manager of Morrisville, a list of all inhabitants of 18 years of age or older of every multifamily dwelling unit which he operates or owns.

Any person, firm or corporation who shall violate any provision of this chapter shall, upon conviction thereof, be sentenced to pay a fine of not more than $300, together with costs of prosecution, or to imprisonment for a term not to exceed 30 days. Every day that a violation of this chapter continues shall constitute a separate offense.
