GENERAL REFERENCES
Fines and penalties — See Ch. 53A.
Each owner, tenant and/or occupant of any building or structure
within the Borough of West Conshohocken who or which installs or causes
to be installed either a fire alarm system or burglar alarm system
the purpose and function of which is to alert the Fire Company or
the Police Department in the event of a fire or burglary shall, at
all times, maintain said system, including all integral parts and
equipment, in a good and operable condition free from any and all
defects.
The purpose of this chapter is to prevent an unnecessary response
by the Fire Company or the Police Department resulting from an alarm
received but which has been caused by a defect in the fire alarm system
or burglar alarm system.

Any person violating the provisions of this chapter shall be subject to the provisions detailed in Chapter 53A of the Code of the Borough of West Conshohocken.
